Shamrock Fest ’26 with Jaffery St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Jaffery

The luck of the Irish once again comes to Jaffrey, New Hampshire with its annual salute of the green. The Park Theatre produces the 7th Annual St. Patrick’s Parade and the 5th Annual Shamrock Fest, the festival of all things Irish, begins March 12 and ends on Tuesday, March 17. The annual highlight is the parade, made all the more special this year because it will be the only St. Patrick’s parade in the state due to the cancellation of the Manchester parade. This year the parade is on Sunday, March 15, starting at 2pm with a weather date alternative of March 22.

An Afternoon with Dervish, Manchester

Ring in St. Patrick’s Day with the legendary Irish band, and BBC lifetime achievement award recipients, Dervish! At the end of 2019 Dervish received a prestigious lifetime achievement award from the BBC, a fitting tribute to the band after over 30 years of recording and performing all over the world. Described by the BBC as “an icon of Irish music”, the band have played at festivals from Rio de Janeiro to Glastonbury. They accompanied the Irish President on state visits to Latvia and Lithuania and Prime Minister of Ireland on a trade mission to China as Cultural Ambassadors taking time out to play an impromptu session on the Great Wall of China. Dervish have a line-up which includes some of Ireland’s finest traditional musicians, fronted by one of the country’s best-known singers, Cathy Jordan.
