Susan A. Reeves, EdD, RN, CENP, Executive Vice President, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and Chief Nursing Executive, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health System
Susan A. Reeves was named the Executive Vice President of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) in July 2020. In this role, she is responsible for establishing and executing DHMC’s short and long-range objectives in the context of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health’s (D-HH) Strategic Plan, and ensuring efficient, effective and high-quality patient care to meet the community needs of the DHMC service area. Reeves works in close collaboration with D-HH’s Chief Clinical Officer on the day-to-day operation of DHMC and aligns and integrates DHMC into the D-HH System. Reeves’ team at DHMC includes senior-level leaders from clinical care, research, operations and finance.
Reeves is also the Chief Nursing Executive for the D-HH system, a role which she assumed in June 2017. In this role, Reeves is responsible for setting the strategic direction for nursing across the system and for creating alignment for nursing practice across all D-HH entities.
