Sweeten the Season With the Cookie and Candy Tour
Those who love their holidays on the sweet side shouldn’t miss the 22nd Annual Inn to Inn Holiday Cookie and Candy Tour that provides visitors with some sweet deals to go with a tempting trail of tasty treats.
Visitors can tour beautiful Mount Washington Valley inns decked out in their holiday finery, offering cookies, candies and a collection of recipes. This year’s Inn to Inn Holiday Cookie and Candy Tour will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on December 14 and 15, 2019. The self-guided tour stretches from Hart’s Location, to Eaton, New Hampshire, and Fryeburg, Maine, with nearly a dozen inns opening their doors to those in search of fabulous holiday treats, recipes and decorating ideas. No inn is more than 15 minutes from the next, with many much closer.
Inns participating in the tour this year include: the Darby Field Inn in Albany; Inn at Crystal Lake and Pub in Eaton; Inn at Ellis River in Jackson; 1785 Inn, Cranmore Inn Bed and Breakfast, Eastman Inn, Samuel O’Reilly House, Old Red Inn & Cottages, and White Birch Inn in North Conway Village, Snowvillage Inn in Snowville, The Farmstand in Chocorua, and Admiral Peary Inn Bed & Breakfast in nearby Fryeburg, Maine.
How to participate
Tour tickets are available in advance by reserving a lodging package from participating inns; packages include two nights accommodations, keepsake ornament, admission for the Cookie and Candy Tour and more.
Not able to make it to this year’s event but want to embrace the tasty holiday cheer? Try baking one of the inn’s decadent cookies in your own home. (Oh, and don’t forget to invite us — we have a sweet tooth, too!)
