Here's a list of New Hampshire fall, foliage and pumpkin festivals happening in 2019.

We don’t know about you but we can’t get enough of fall in New Hampshire. We love how crisp the air gets and when colors of trees pop before our eyes each September and October. (We also love how delicious and refreshing beer tastes at the local Oktoberfest events!) Here’s a roundup of some of our staff’s favorite, not-to-miss foliage, pumpkin and Oktoberfest events.

61st Annual Hillsborough County Agricultural Fair

When: Friday, September 6 – Sunday, September 8, 2019

Where: 15 Hill Dale Ln., New Boston, NH

Animals and agriculture are front and center of this annual fair, but you’ll also find great fair food, kids carnival rides, music and fireworks on Saturday night.

143rd Annual Deerfield Fair

When: September 26-29, 2019

Where: Deerfield Fairgrounds on Route 43 in Deerfield, NH

One of NH’s most beloved and largest fairs featuring hundreds of food vendors, multiple animal and livestock barns, large carnival and midway area and four days of live music and entertainment.

22nd Annual Fall Festival and Chili Cook-Off

When: Saturday, October 5, 2019 | 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Where: Visitor Center Green, Claremont

Enjoy live music, 5K and children’s road races, vendors and, of course, a chili contest and tasting.

8th Annual Powder Keg Beer and Chili Festival

When: Saturday, October 5, 2019 | 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

Where: Swasey Parkway in Exeter, NH

Enjoy a day of indulging in delicious chili made by local restaurants and sampling options from more than 40 breweries.

14th Annual Oktoberfest

When: Sunday, October 6, 2019 | 5 p.m.

Where: Inn at East Hill Farm in Troy, NH

At this Oktoberfest in Troy, you can enjoy traditional German fare and live oompah music. Hors d’oeuvres begin at 5 p.m., dinner begins at 6 p.m. It’s BYOB and reservations required. East Hill Farm, 460 Monadnock St. Tickets are $27.95 for adults and $14.50 for children.

30th Annual Milford Pumpkin Festival

When: October 11-13, 2019

Where: Downtown Milford and the Milford Oval (Route 101) in Milford, NH

Featuring a craft fair, beer tasting, talent show, a haunted trail, music, food, the giant pumpkin weigh-in and more. Parking is available at the Milford High School with free shuttle rides to the festival. There is also a beer and wine tasting street party complete with a corn hole competition.

72nd Annual Warner Fall Foliage Festival

When: October 11-13, 2019

Where: Downtown (Route 103) in Warner, NH

The festival is Warner’s invitation to share the natural splendor of fall while enjoying food, entertainment, carnival rides and fine crafts along the main streets of Warner.

11th Annual Fall Foliage Pig Roast & BBQ

When: October 12, 2019 | 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Where: Mount Sunapee Resort in Newbury, NH

Grab your friends and family and head to Mount Sunapee Resort for a celebration of the end of summer and changing of the seasons. Visitors can enjoy hay wagon rides, pumpkin carving contest, 5K road race, inflatable obstacle course, live music, duck drop, disc golf, a scavenger hunt and more. Entry and activities are fee, but pumpkins for carving are $5 each. Food is available from 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and the aerial sky rides will be running 10 a.m.-4 p.m. to take in the view of New England fall foliage.

Monadnock Pumpkin Festival

When: Saturday, October 12, 2019 | 1-8 p.m.

Where: Cheshire Fair Grounds, 247 Monadnock Hwy., Swanzey, NH

This family-friendly event includes carved pumpkin displays, a carving contest, a children’s costume parade, a pumpkin catapult, a craft fair, pony rides and a Fright Fest haunted fairgrounds area. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for ages 6 and up and kids 5 and under are free.

Somersworth Pumpkin Festival

When: October 12, 2019 | 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Where: Somersworth Plaza on Main Street in Somersworth, NH

Check out this all-day family-oriented event focusing on all things pumpkin (painting, carving, throwing, bowling, golfing and more). Tickets are $12 for kids, accompanying adults are free.

22nd Annual Attitash Oktoberfest

When: October 12-13, 2019 | 12-6 p.m.

Where: Attitash Mountain Resort in Bartlett, NH

Join Attitash for their 21st Annual Oktoberfest happening Columbus Day Weekend at Bear Peak. Enjoy live Bavarian music from the world renowned King Ludwig’s Band, dancing, kids’ activities, games, authentic German food and, of course, the Oktoberfest Biergarten featuring brewers from around the region.

White Mountains Oktoberfest

When: October 12-13, 2019 | 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Where: Loon Mountain Resort in Lincoln, NH

Get a taste of the Bavarian Alps during the area’s largest celebration of German food, drink and culture, White Mountain Oktoberfest. This two-day festival perfectly coincides with fall foliage season so you’ll enjoy beer and brats alongside stunning views of New Hampshire’s White Mountains. Admission is free for all.

The Sandwich Fair

When: October 12-14, 2019

Where: Route 109 (7 Wentworth Hill Rd.) in Center Sandwich, NH

Traditional country fair dating back to 1887. Admission is $12 for adults, ages 12 and up are $12 and children under 12 are free.

Fall Foliage Celebration

When: October 12-14, 2019

Where: Waterville Valley Resort in Waterville Valley, NH

To complement the brilliant fall foliage, Waterville Valley has scheduled a weekend of family activities, free outdoor concerts, merchant tent sales, ski swap, 5K road race and 1.6K fun run, kids games and more. All day in the Town Square.

New Hampshire Pumpkin Festival

When: October 18-19, 2019 | 4-8 p.m. and 12-8 p.m.

Where: Downtown in Laconia, NH

Guests will be in awe of the 34-foot pumpkin and jack-o-lantern tower and enjoy the 5K/10K run/walk, 60+ vendors and crafters, food, beer garden, children’s games, pumpkin bowling, hayrides and much more. Admission is free and pets are welcome to attend.

Giant Pumpkin Weigh-off and Regatta

Where: October 19-20, 2019 | 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Where: Downtown and Main Street in Goffstown, NH

The giant pumpkin weigh-off is day one, followed by the regatta on the following day. Also featuring pumpkin catapults, giant pumpkin drop, races and more.

14th Annual Celebrate Samhain

When: Sunday, October 20, 2019

Where: DoubleTree by Hilton, 2 Somerset Pkwy., Nashua, NH

Celebrate Samhain is dedicated to the ancient Celtic celebration of the final harvest and “day of the dead.” Admission is $10.

Keene Pumpkin Festival

When: Sunday, October 29, 2019

Where: Downtown Keene

The primary activity at Keene Pumpkin Festival is the spectacular display of jack-o’-lanterns, as always! Other events include pumpkin bowling, live music, pumpkin games, face painting, trick-or-treat and much more.
