Memorial Day Parade

When: Monday, May 30, 2022 at 10:30 a.m.
Parade route: Starts at Town Hall and goes to to Academy Avenue, left on to Leroy Avenue and right on Main Street and proceeds to the Atkinson Town Dow Common where a Memorial Day ceremony will take place.

Memorial Day Hometown Parade

When: Sunday, May 29, 2022 at 1 p.m.
Parade route: Parade starts at Bedford High School’s driveway, goes down to County Road and up to Liberty Hill Road, and ends at McKelvie Intermediate School.

When: Monday, May 30, 2022 at 11 a.m.
FYI: Please plan to arrive by 10:30 a.m. Seating is limited and attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair. The ceremony normally runs for one hour.

Memorial Day Ceremony and Community Picnic

When: Monday, May 30, 2022
A Memorial Day ceremony will be held at the gazebo from 11–11:45 a.m., followed by a community picnic lunch from 12-1:30 p.m.

Charleston, NH
Memorial Day Parade
When: Monday, May 30, 2022 at 8 a.m.
Parade route: The parade will start at 8 a.m. from the North Charlestown Community School and advance to Ox Brook Bridge where a brief ceremony will be held to honor our Naval dead. From there, the parade will then proceed to Hope Hill Cemetery where ceremonies will honor all those who died in Military service to our country. The Downtown parade starts at 10 a.m. from Olcott Lane, beside the middle school. The parade will advance north to Sullivan St and then reverse direction and return to the Town Monuments where ceremonies will be held.

Memorial Day Parade

When: Monday, May 30, 2022 at 9 a.m.
Parade route: Parade starts along Main Street and Pleasant Street to Main Street and Franklin Street and Franklin Street and North State Street to North State Street and Capitol Street. The parade then marches south on North State Street to the Statehouse plaza for a closing ceremony.

Memorial Day Ceremony

When: Monday, May 30, 2022 at 10 a.m.
There will be a Remembrance Ceremony at Memorial Park on Main Street to pay tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to serve and protect our country. The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. on Main Street with special guest speakers, musical tributes, laying of the wreath at Memorial Park and more. There is no parade.

Head to Hampton Beach for a special Memorial Day fireworks display. Fireworks are best seen between B and C streets and happen every Wednesday throughout the summer.

Memorial Day Parade

When: Monday, May 30, 2022 at 10 a.m.
Parade route: The parade starts at Cogswell Memorial School and goes around the square to Circle Street, then back up and ends at the Angela Robinson Bandstand. Following the parade there will be a chicken barbecue fundraiser as well as free ice cream for kids at Community Park.

Memorial Day Parade

When: Monday, May 30, 2022 at 1 p.m.
Parade route: Begins at Town Hall with parade vehicles lined up on Main Street in front of the town hall, and marchers forming in the Town Hall Parking lot. At the command of the Grand Marshall, the parade will begin and proceed up Church Street, left on North Road to the entrance of Greenwood Cemetery where the formal Memorial Day observance will commence. The Kingston Veteran’s Memorial watches over the Greenwood Cemetery and is located just behind the Kingston Veteran’s Club.

Memorial Day Celebration
When: Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 11 a.m.
Parade route: This year’s Grand Marshal is Corporal Patrick Hogan of the United States Marine Corps, who received the Purple Heart Medal for his service in the Vietnam War. The parade will stop at the Town Hall for the raising of the flag and Pledge of Allegiance, and then continue to Badger Park to place flowers on the memorials. The speaking program and Veteran’s picnic and activities will be at Hilton Field.

Memorial Day Parade and Services

When: Monday, May 30, 2022
Morning memorial services will be held at Forest Glade Cemetery, Greek Orthodox Cemetery, Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Holy Trinity Cemetery and Tri City Christian Cemetery.
The Memorial Day Parade in Somersworth will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the American Legion parking lot and ceremonies will be held at Veterans Memorial at Stein Park and at the SOmersworth – Berwick Bridge.

Stratham, NH
Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

When: Monday, May 30, 2022 at 1:30 p.m.
Stratham will honor Memorial Day with a parade at 1:30 pm that marches from Jack Rabbit Lane, east onto Portsmouth Ave, to Stratham Hill Park. The parade will be immediately followed by a ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Garden at Stratham Hill Park at 1:45pm. The featured speaker at the ceremony will be Stratham Police Department Chief Anthony King and the laying of the wreath will be done by World War II Veteran and Stratham resident, Joe Snyder. The public is invited to attend both events.
