Nadeau’s subs has been a New Hampshire family-owned and operated sub shop since 1969. The original owner, Bob Nadeau, believed in providing the customer with premium quality subs using only the freshest and finest ingredients, with superior service in a clean, family-friendly atmosphere. These founding principles are just as important today as they were back then. Bentley’s Roast Beef
134 NH-101A, Amherst
(603) 883-2020

There isn’t much to a roast beef sandwich (bread, beef, condiment of choice), so the beef really needs to be the star of the show. At Bentley’s in Amherst, they roast grain-fed Midwestern beef all day long and you can taste the difference of their flavorful, tender meat. As they say, “a roast beef sandwich from Bentley’s Roast Beef tastes like pure bliss.” If you have a non-roast beef eater in the house, don’t worry. Bentley’s has all hungry diners covered with a large menu full of freshly-caught seafood, meals fried to order and exciting daily specials.

Nashua Garden
121 Main St, Nashua
(603) 886-7363

Tucked in to a busy Main Street next to Castro’s Backroom, the Nashua Garden is a longtime staple and fan favorite for Gate City residents and downtown workers. The super reasonable prices and delicious, hearty sandwiches made from freshly sliced Boar’s Head meats are hard to beat on price and flavor. You don’t have to be a sports fanatic to dine here, but if you are one, then this place will feel like a second home. The restaurant’s décor is devoted to Boston’s professional sports teams with signed posters and vintage memorabilia covering every corner of the brick walls. In addition to creative sandwiches (named after Boston sports legends like Larry Bird and Big Poppy) the Garden also has a bustling nightime bar scene, televisions playing only sports (of course) as well as darts and shuffleboard. If you’re looking for a fun, casual place to watch the big game while enjoying a cold beer and a delicious sandwich, then head to the Nashua Garden.
