New Hampshire Magazine’s 2nd Annual Scenic New Hampshire Photo Contest

We loved seeing your submissions from last year’s Reader Submitted New Hampshire photo contest so much that we’re doing it again! It’s finally time for our 2nd Annual Scenic New Hampshire Photo Contest! It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned professional, or a weekend shutterbug, we want to see your stunning shots of New Hampshire! You can submit up to three photos that capture the spirit of the Granite State, which will be judged by our panel of professional photographers. All winners and honorable mentions will be featured in print in our August issue, and our Editor’s Pick, Grand Prize, Second and Third place winners will win a cash prize! All photos must be taken in New Hampshire.
Submit your best shots by Sunday, June 8, 2025 for a chance to have your work featured in our August 2025 issue.
Editor’s Pick: Publication in the August issue and/or on the cover of New Hampshire Magazine. Plus, $500 cash prize!
1st Place: Publication in the August issue of New Hampshire Magazine. Plus, $500 cash prize!
2nd Place: Publication in the March-April issue of New Hampshire Magazine. Plus, $300 cash prize!
3rd Place: Publication in the March-April issue of New Hampshire Magazine. Plus, $200 cash prize!
Additionally, Honorable Mentions will be featured in print. All featured photographers will also each receive a complimentary 1-year subscription to New Hampshire Magazine.
Photo Contest Rules and Guidelines
How to enter
- All photos must be submitted via the official online entry form. No mailed, emailed or hand-delivered contest entries will be accepted.
- Only one entry form per person will be accepted.
- Each entry form can contain up to three photos for consideration.
Eligibility
- This contest is open to United States residents who are 18 years and older at the time of submission.
- Both professional and amateur photographers are welcome to participate.
- Photographers do not have to be from or currently live in New Hampshire.
- The entry form must be completed with full name and contact information in order to be eligible to win.
- By participating in this contest, entrants consent to having their name, photo and town shared with and by New Hampshire Magazine (sharing includes, but is not limited to: printed in the August issue, included in social posts or in e-newsletters.)
- AI-generated images and heavily edited images are not allowed.
Photo requirements
- All photos must be taken in New Hampshire..
- Photographers should be prepared to caption photos, including sharing information regarding the location of image, date it was taken, as well as information on the camera used.
- The maximum total of file size the online form will allow is 100MB but photographers should be prepared to share additional, larger files if needed for print. Photos are encouraged to be 30MB or smaller.
- While the copyright of any submission remains with the entrant, by participating in this photo contest, the entrant grants New Hampshire Magazine an irrevocable and perpetual right to publish the photo submission(s) without compensation.
Winners
- Professional, local photographers chosen by New Hampshire Magazine will serve as the official judges for this contest and select the winning photos.
- Judges hold the authority to request original photo files or follow up with entrants for additional information as they deem necessary.
- Winners will be contacted by New Hampshire Magazine staff via email using the email provided on the online entry form no later than Friday, June 20, 2025.
- To facilitate the prizes, winners will be contacted and asked to provide mailing addresses. Additionally, winners should be prepared to fill out a W-9 tax form.
