NH’s Fall State and Agricultural Fairs
Mark your calendar for the Granite State Fair, Deerfield Fair, Hillsborough County Fair and more!
What’s our favorite tradition once the temps drop and the leaves start to fall? It has to be attending one of New Hampshire’s great fall fairs. Fried food, carnival-style rides and games, animals, horse pulls, live music and entertainment, and did we mention the delicious food?
Here are the dates for our favorite fall state and agricultural fairs happening in September and October.

Lancaster Fair
Date: August 29 – September 2, 2024
Location: 516 Main Street in Lancaster, NH
Tickets: $22 (including rides). Children under 36″ are free with a paying adult. Parking is free.

Hopkinton State Fair
Date: August 29 – September 2, 2024
Location: State Fairgrounds in Contoocook, NH
Tickets: $14 for general admission (ages 13-59), $12 for seniors, $8 for youth ages 3-12; children 35 months and younger are free.

Granite State Fair (formerly, Rochester Fair)
Date: September 12– September 15 and September 19 – September 22, 2024
Location: State Fairgrounds in Rochester, NH
Tickets: Advanced tickets are $10, tickets at the door are $12 for general admission and free for ages 8 and younger. Parking is $5 in advance and $7 at the door.

Hillsborough County Agricultural Fair
Date: September 6 – September 8, 2024
Location: 17 Hilldale Lane in New Boston, NH
Tickets: $10 for adults; children, seniors 65 and older, and active military and veterans are $5; children under 6 are free.

Deerfield Fair
Date: September 26 – September 29, 2024
Location: Deerfield Fairgrounds, Route 43, Deerfield, NH
Tickets: $12 for ages 13 and older; children age 12 and younger are free. Senior (65+) discount days are Thursday and Friday and tickets are $9. All military (active, reserves and veterans) are free.

Sandwich Fair
Date: October 12 – October 14, 2024
Location: Sandwich Fairgrounds, Route 109 North, Center Sandwich, NH
Tickets: $12 for ages 12 and older, children under 12 are free.
