Meals of Thanks: A Community Collaboration Feeding New Hampshire
Keeping New Hampshire food pantries stocked is an ongoing, collaborative effort that ensures that no one is left behind.
The Meals of Thanks initiative, in which New Hampshire Magazine partners with New England’s Tap House Grille, provides thousands of high-quality, locally prepared meals to food-insecure families across the Granite State. This past December, the initiative provided over 900 meals that included ham, turkey, green beans, pastas and more.
What began as a shared vision has grown into one of the region’s most meaningful community efforts, bringing together local businesses, nonprofits and readers in a unified mission to give back.
At the heart of this initiative is New England’s Tap House Grille, whose team prepares and distributes meals with care and consistency. Their commitment to quality and community has made them an essential partner in delivering not just food, but dignity and comfort to those who need it most.
This effort is also made possible through the leadership and generosity of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Northeast Delta Dental, and CGI Business Solutions, whose sponsorship helps fund and expand the program’s reach. Together with participating advertisers, these organizations enable Meals of Thanks to deliver thousands of meals each year, supporting groups individuals and families in need during the holiday season.
The impact extends far beyond a single meal. Meals of Thanks represents a collective commitment to community wellness, food security and support for those who are most in need. It also highlights the power of local collaboration, demonstrating what can be achieved when businesses and community partners align around a shared purpose.
As the program continues to grow, so does its impact, reminding us that even small acts of generosity, when multiplied across a community, can make a profound difference.
Together, we are truly Granite State strong!
