We threw a party on October 19 in the Spotlight Room at the Palace Theatre in Manchester to celebrate the launch of our newest publication from McLean Communications: 603 Diversity. Along with staff from McLean, New Hampshire Magazine and Yankee Publishing were many of the journalists who helped create 603 Diversity as well as some of the artists, speakers and change agents featured in its pages.
Partiers snacked on dumplings and samosas from Manchester’s Café Momo and networked with fellow visionaries — in many cases meeting one another for the first time. That kind of interaction was one of the primary goals of 603 Diversity, says Publisher Ernesto Burden.
“Our intent is that, as we introduce the state’s diverse communities to our readers, we also introduce some of state’s most creative people to one another,” he says. Burden adds that the publication is designed to serve as a catalyst for new partnerships and new visions for how to share the many stories, hopes and dreams of our rich and increasingly varied New Hampshire culture.
