The Last of Summer in a Bottle

Sweet Baby Vineyard's White Peach Wine captures the final days of summer

The whimsical labels of Sweet Baby Vineyard emphasize the local sources for their fruits and grapes. The winery is now in East Kingston, but it started at the home of Lewis and Stacey Eaton. It’s another story where the love of wine grew from a hobby into a full-time career for the couple.

Their fragrant peach wine is made from white peaches picked at Applecrest Farm in Hampton. Local sourcing allows for picking at the peak of ripeness for the sweetest fruit. The style is semi-sweet and can be considered as a replacement for a dry Riesling. It’s perfect as a sipper for a light brunch or picnic. Serve chilled to capture the last essence of summer.

Five reds, three whites and eight fruit wines are available for sampling and purchase in the tasting room on Thursdays and Fridays from noon to 4 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.

Also find a few of their wines at the New Hampshire Liquor & Wine Outlets, Market Basket, Shaw’s and independent wine shops and food markets.
