Shamrock Shake Smoothie

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day (and get in your greens) with this delicious Shamrock Shake Smoothie! It is a fun, quick and easy snack or dessert for all ages. If you would like to make a dairy-free version, simply substitute the milk and yogurt with other options such as almond milk or coconut yogurt. Add more of each ingredient to make a smoothie for a friend, or the whole family!
Makes 1 smoothie
1 frozen large banana, sliced
1 cup spinach
1/2 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup low-fat milk
1/3 cup packed fresh mint leaves, plus more for garnish
4 ice cubes
Combine banana, spinach, yogurt milk, mint and ice in a blender. Blend until Smooth. Use kiwi slices to garnish. This recipe was found on Eatingwell.com.
