SALT Kitchen & Bar offers a menu with a very creative touch — nothing is ordinary here. The menu is seasonal and includes local seafood and cheeses. Dining options include a chef’s bar, a vibrant lounge and main dining room as well as private spaces for intimate parties. Items from the chef’s bar include prosciutto-wrapped Maine scallops ($11, shown above), wood oven-roasted local oysters, and a cauliflower and truffle cheese dip. Bites also include lobster bisque, poutine, tuna crudo and Korean short ribs with candied pistachios. Mains are bestowed with interesting touches, too. Find Misty Knoll chicken with shallot and wild boar bacon roesti potatoes, wilted greens and roasted baby carrots.

Discounted drinks and savory chef’s bar dishes are on special on weekdays from 4 p.m. to  6 p.m. Weekends are a great time to explore the build-your-own Bloody Mary and mimosa bars with a selection of more than 40 artisan components, including an array of mixes, spices, hot sauces, juices and garnishes. As a hotel restaurant you can find breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sunday brunch is a spectacular affair here with jazz and champagne, plus an array of chef-hosted cooking stations and an assortment of beautiful desserts.
