Camp Merrowvista
Operated by the American Youth Foundation, Merrowvista is set on over 600 acres in the pristine forested Ossipee Mountains. Our summer camp programs for ages 8 to 17 are intentionally designed to encourage youth to stretch beyond what is comfortable, to discover more about their own unique capacities, and to practice putting their own best into action in a supportive community.
Our younger campers learn to live in community, experience their first hiking and backpacking adventures, and take the first steps toward identifying their personal values and are introduced to the idea of best self. Our older campers embark on multiday hiking or paddling off-site trips, give back to their communities through service, and discover their own best selves.
Everyone leaves Merrowvista with lasting memories, new skills, friends, and newly gained confidence in themselves and their ability to make a positive difference in the world.
