Good Karma Café in Exeter is a vegan paradise and source for other healthy located near the Amtrak Station in Exeter. Buddha statues scattered about and the affirming atmosphere get the good karma going.

Owner Ed Doris offers meals that are nutritious, most of it vegan and made on the premises. The small café also offers a lounge area upstairs. The menu offerings are pictured on the wall and include an interesting seaweed salad called "Veggies of the Sea" and the Harvest Salad shown here. In addition to breakfast and lunch daily, dinner is offered on Fridays and Saturdays.

Customer favorites include anything topped with their special "cheezy" sauce. Also their sunflower "paté" adds protein to their vitality salad and Ed likes the Asian tempeh salad with their own almond miso marinated tempeh— a soy protein. Consider the Divine Rice Burger topped with spinach, tomato, onion and fermented pickles. The burger itself is made by Divine Burger down the block.

The deli case displays raw chocolate treats made locally and also pastries from Aissa Sweets in Concord. Both are good avenues for going "bad."
