There is a little bit of something for everybody at Fulchino Vineyards in Hollis. Owner Al Fulchino has a passion for making wine and hosting happy events. The reds are rich and the whites are refreshing. His dessert and fruit wines are among the most popular. The Strawberry Wine (750 ml, $30) is a taste of summer in a bottle. It’s made entirely with fresh local strawberries from Lavoie's Farm in Hollis. Pair your favorite chocolate treat with this bottle for a romantic evening of sipping by the fire. Chocolate-dipped strawberries would be the perfect combination. Serve chilled.

The tasting room at the winery is a beautiful new stucco construction with huge wooden doors — the building looks like it was transported from a vineyard in Italy. The space doubles as a function room for hosting weddings and monthly winery events. In summer the lovely patio is a great place to sip and view the budding vines.  Look online for special Valentine’s Day events held at the winery.

Wines are available at the winery, local independent food markets and Whole Foods. Winery tasting hours daily, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
