Chocolate Madness Tasting at Zorvino Vineyards

On Feb. 5 Zorvino Vineyards in Sandown will host a wine tasting and food pairing that features a touch of chocolate in every dish.

Zorvino Vineyards, with complete banquet facilities, hosts about 125 weddings a year, and each month they throw a fun food and wine pairing dinner open to the public. Look for wine and beer dinners, Easter celebrations, ’80s dances and Mother’s Day events among others. On February 5, their annual Chocolate Madness wine tasting and food pairing event is a multi-course tasting, featuring a touch of chocolate in every dish. The tapas-style menu is designed by head chef Rich Rock and complements the selected Zorvino wines, from unique fruit wines like Strawberriez made with local fruit and grapes. More than 30 wines are available at the winery downstairs.

The tasting room at the winery is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. They also offer a variety of local products, including cheeses and their own pesto dipping oil. Come in the spring and find bocce ball courts to while away a Sunday afternoon while sipping sweet fruit wines.
