What You Loved in 2015

The top 10 stories of 2015 as determined by you!

As 2015 draws to a close and we look forward to what 2016 will bring, we decided to sift through our online stats to see what you were clicking on this year. Here are the top 10 stories of 2015:

1. Best New Restaurants from the November issue
Kudos to our wonderful Food Editor, Susan Laughlin, for snagging the top spot with her annual rundown of what's hot and new in New Hampshire's dining scene.

2. The Soothing Power of Reiki from the August issue
While we know that our monthly Health contributor, Karen A. Jamrog, is an excellent writer, we were all surprised by the level of this story's popularity.

3. The Annual Beer Guide from the October issue
Associate Editor Erica Thoits and Cam Tranchemontagne (a former editorial intern) took the extremely tough job of tasting beer and visiting breweries around the state to pull together our comprehensive local beer guide. Looks like it was all worth it.

4. What's It Like To Live in a Family of 12? from the May issue
To chronicle life in the Fisher family, Matthew Lomanno spent a long weekend with them, capturing their activities on black and white film and listening in on daily activities. This beautiful pictorial essay is one of our favorites – we're glad that you agree.

5. 10 Casual Places to Eat Lobster online only
Our 10 favorite spots to roll up our sleeves and dive into sweet, succulent lobster was a big hit this summer.

6. Plan Your Summer of Fun from the June issue
For this year's Summer Fun issue we broke down activities in NH by category – family friendly, the Lakes Region, the Seacoast, cheap things to do and more.

7. Top Doctors from the April issue
Each year we ask New Hampshire doctors who they would choose to provide for the medical needs of friends and loved ones and then we give you the results. Plus, we publish the results of the Readers' Poll.

8. Top Dentists from the August issue
For 2015, New Hampshire Magazine commissioned a professional polling firm, USA Top Dentists, to ask the New Hampshire's dentists whom they would recommend if someone were seeking a top dental specialist. These are the results.

9. Best of NH – specifically Food Odds and Ends and American and Seafood Restaurants from the July issue
These were so close in popularity that we're calling it a tie.

10. UFOs in New Hampshire from the September issue
Apparently you all want to believe. Or at least you're curious about some of the famous NH abduction stories such as the "Incident at Exeter." Written by Michael Berry. Photographer David Mendelsohn also recreated and photographed some famous alien sightings.

This top 10 is determined by what you clicked on at www.nhmagazine.com – we can sometimes tell what's popular (or not) by old fashioned reader response (letters and phone calls), but we'd love to hear about what you found most interesting this year. Feel free to leave your favorites in the comments.
