We All Scream for Ice Cream
Cold and creamy! In a blind taste test our staff compared three N.H. farmstead ice creams from around the state. Here’s what they thought.
Connolly Brothers Dairy Farm Creamy and flavorful, it’s no wonder that Connolly Brothers ice cream has won the adoration of many Monadnock locals – including John Sullivan of Milford’s Yankee Chef. In addition to staple flavors like vanilla and strawberry, the Connolly Family Farm also offers fresh milk, beef and eggs from their self-service farmstand.

And the Winner Is…Walpole CreameryThick, slightly chewy and strewn with ample chocolate chunks, this is an ice cream for true chocolate lovers (hence the double “chocolates”). The rich, fudge-like consistency made this a staff favorite, but you’d better leave room for it – this could easily be the heaviest pint around!
