Local boys make good in Vegas and return to electrify the hometown crowds.Anyone who has been a fan of New Hampshire’s Recycled Percussion band has always known they would go far. And far they have gone, touring the country and packing concert halls and parks and arenas along the way. But when they made it to the finals on the hit TV show “America’s Got Talent,” some might have thought they had reached a peak. They would have been wrong.Recycled Percussion, led by “world’s fastest drummer” Justin Spencer, parlayed their fame to bag a prestigious gig with the newly remodeled Tropicana right on the Vegas strip. Their adrenaline-pumping act has evolved into an all-ages, interactive entertainment tour de force. What’s next is still in the works. The band currently lives together in a big house in a Vegas gated community, so a reality series would be an obvious choice. Maybe a rock ‘n roll situation comedy, à la “The Monkees”? The sky is the limit, but with these guys involved you can bet it will push the envelope for fast-paced fun and edgy excitement. But you don’t have to wait for a taste of Recycled Percussion. The band is coming back to Manchester to play the Northeast Delta Dental Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 6, followed by an Atlas Fireworks show. Their “Bringin’ Vegas Back” Summer Spectacular kicks into high gear as they take over the Home of the NH Fisher Cats!
