Portsmouth Halloween Parade

This grassroots community event is held rain or (moon) shine. Come in costume or just come to watch and share in the Halloween festivities. Now in its 16th year, the parade is all about community and creativity – you won’t find costumes off the rack at this Halloween event.

Though the parade is all-inclusive and celebrates individuality, there are a few rules, such as no open flames, motorized vehicles, throwing of objects and other pretty common sense guidelines. Visit www.spookyportsmouth.com for a full list of rules, plus a special note to parents (the parade is an all-ages event) that outlines what kind of environment they can expect.

After the parade the party traditionally continues in the various bars and pubs throughout the town, so plan to make an evening of it!

Find more info on Facebook and follow the parade on Twitter for recent updates.
