New Brewer at Blue Lobster Brewing Co.

Ian Browne is replacing David Sakolsky

The folks at Seacoastbeveragelab.com brought our attention to something of a brouhaha (bad pun intended) surrounding the news that Blue Lobster Brewing Co. is replacing it's apparently, judging by the many Facebook and Beer Advocate comments, much-beloved brewer David Sakolsky with Ian Browne.

What this means for Blue Lobster remains to be seen – This is what owners Michael and Roberta Benoit have to say about Browne in their Facebook post announcement:

"Ian comes to us from Maine, and a recent graduate from the Master Brewers Program at UC-Davis. He has a wealth of knowledge in Brewing and Business, and is a welcome addition to the Blue Lobster Team."
