Lunch just got a little more interesting if you find yourself in the Wambach Mill in Manchester. Waterworks Café is tucked in back and can be a bit of a challenge to find, but it’s well worth the effort for the creative take on burgers, sandwiches and more. Luck has it, they come with the best seasoned fries around (a Best of NH 2013 Editor’s Pick) — crunchy and savory.

Breakfast items range from signature omelets such as the Waumbec (bacon, baby spinach, sweet onions and cheddar) and breakfast sandwiches to quiche of the day and French toast.
