We're Inspiring
I just finished reading the September issue of New Hampshire Magazine and had to send you a quick note. I have been a subscriber for years and really love where the magazine is going. There are so many healthy, community-focused articles that inspire as well as educate!
I loved the piece on organic Brookford Farm and Certified Local restaurants as well as the piece on UNH's courses in community leadership. I am the president of the Manchester Food Co-op and you did a piece on us a while ago. I wanted to let you know the Co-op is growing and hope to reach 500 member-owners by Labor Day! With great articles like the ones in your September issue I feel like we are on the same page and I am proud to be a life-long resident of NH! Keep up the great work!

Missing School
What a great public service to have an updated list of NH private schools [September]. However, I was disappointed to see that Liberty Harbor Academy (Manchester, NH) is missing.
It's a fairly new school but it's my first choice if I still had school-aged kids.

We were very pleased to see the excellent job New Hampshire Magazine did explaining the wine industry in New Hampshire in the September issue. We were even more pleased when we saw the added pictures and video that accompanied the article online. This past weekend we had at least a half dozen guests in our winery who were there because they saw the article.

Political Perspective
Wow! Mitt Romney really shot himself in the foot by choosing that doofus Paul Ryan as his VP candidate instead of New Hampshire's junior U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte. Not only is Ms. Ayotte very intelligent, articulate and well educated (qualities which Paul Ryan seems to be lacking in), but in addition I would say (very respectfully) Kelly Ayotte is really cute! Also, in an earlier issue you had some books listed that looked to be really, really good. One is a true crime book by Kevin Flynn and Rebecca Lavoie titled "Legally Dead." The others are the New Hampshire Pulp Fiction series edited by yourself entitled "Live Free or Undead" and "Live Free or Die, Die, Die!" I would love to get my hands on these books. The problem is that, while you provided a website address, in my current circumstances I do not have Internet access.

Brookford Farm [September 2012] is awesome! We live just three miles from it on the same road and see firsthand how they treat their animals and, boy, what a great life they all have! Their faces say it all … happy and content. Their milk and cheese are raw and so delicious. Prices are fair and I shop there as much as I can to help them be successful so they stay forever!
