Great North Woods Fall Foliage Tour for Motorcycles or Cars
Head north for some truly exceptional fall foliage in the Great North Woods region of New Hampshire.

Route: This route starts in the White Mountain region in Bartlett.
Take Rte. 302 East and then Rte. 16 North to Errol in the Great North Woods.
Head northwest on Rte. 26 and ride through Dixville Notch, past the historic Balsams Grand Resort to Colebrook, which borders Vermont.
From there, take Rte. 3 South along the Connecticut River. In Groveton head east on Rte. 110, where you’ll traverse the northern boundary of the White Mountain National Forest.
In the town of Stark, cross the Stark Bridge, a 134-foot covered wooden bridge built in 1862.
Continue following Rte. 110 back to Berlin and then take Rte. 16 South to Bartlett.

Fun thing to do along the way: Keep your eyes peeled for moose, deer and black bear, and go fishing in the Androscoggin River. Take a break at Jericho Mountain State Park in Berlin.
