Concord Arts Market Teams Up With Main St. Concord

Best of NH 2009 Editor’s Pick Concord Arts Market, a free weekly outdoor arts market, is teaming up with Main St. Concord’s classic downtown event the “Market Days and Summer Music Festival” to offer something totally new in downtown Concord.

Market Days runs July 16th, 17th and 18th from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., taking over the entire downtown area with fun, free activities. The Concord Arts Market will relocate to Eagle Square for all three days. Admission is free. Eagle Square is wheelchair and stroller accessible.

Each week, Concord Arts Market features acoustic music sets throughout the day, and Market Days weekend is no exception with music scheduled for each day of the festival.

Tune in to the Concord Arts Market website the week of the event for the Eagle Square music schedule (www.concordartsmarket.com). Highlights will include West African style drumming from Arabalon, blues harmonica from Nick Lovett, the Freezer Brothers and songs from the uber-hip Lauren Hurley of Bow.

The Concord Arts Market will be just one of the exciting updates to this classic downtown Concord event.
