Art-A-Ron-Dack

From now until Labor Day, Mt. Washington Valley

Art-A-Ron-Dack, A celebration of summer is an exciting new summertime promotion presented by the Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce, R& R Woodworkers and Chick Home Center.

From now to Labor Day, businesses in the Mt. Washington Valley the will be showcasing 40 cedar Adirondack chairs that have each been painted with the original artwork of local artists.

These beautiful chairs will be on display at the business locations during regular business hours. If you would like to own one of the Art-A-Ron-Dack chairs, you may bid on them at their individual location, online or by phone.

Buy tickets to the 2nd Annual Fields on the Saco to bid on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners on August 29th.

BIDDING
Opening bid for a large Art-A-Ron-Dack chair is $150 and $100 for the child’s chair. Bids must be raised in $25 increments. Please note that 25% of the final auction price is given back to the artist who painted the chair. Those who download the map are eligible to enter into a special drawing for a child’s sized Adirondack chair. HOW DO I BID?
People are encouraged to go to the sponsor’s place of business to view the chair (see map for locations). There are three ways to place a bid:

1. On location: Go inside the shop or business where the
chair is displayed and fill out the bid form.
2. E-mail: art-a-rondacks@mtwashingtonvalley.org.

When placing bids by phone, mail or e-mail be sure to include:

• Your Name
• Sponsoring Business Name
• Name of the Artist
• Chair Number (if known)
• Bid Amount
• Phone Number

*Incomplete bids will not be considered, must be 18 years or
older to bid.

FIELDS ON THE SACO
1st, 2nd and 3rd place chairs are chosen by the judges. Those chairs will be on display at their sponsor location where they may be bid on, however, they will be reserved for auction at the 2nd Annual Fields on the Saco event to be held at Weston’s Farm on August 29th, 2009
