The McIninch Art Gallery, located in Robert Frost Hall at Southern New Hampshire University, proudly presents two upcoming shows, Didier William and Stacey Steers: Night Hunter. There will be an opening reception and artists’ talk on Friday, March 1 from 5-7 p.m. The exhibition is free and open to the public.

Didier William weaves together a wide range of art-making techniques to push the limits of his materials. Often rendered on wooden panels, William's works combine painted, collaged, and carved elements. William is originally from Port-au-Prince Haiti. He received his BFA in painting from The Maryland Institute College of Art and an MFA in painting and printmaking from Yale University School of Art.

Stacey Steers is known for her process driven animated films composed of thousands of handmade works on paper. This exhibition, Night Hunter, summons a disquieting dreamscape drawn from allegory, myth and archetype to create an evocation of the uncanny. The work on display includes a 16-minute film constructed from over 4,000 handmade collages starring Lillian Gish, a large scale sculptural installation, the Night Hunter House, a smaller scale cottage, the Night Hunter Cottage, along with shadow boxes and preparatory collages.
