The Sugar River thunders by the outcrop of land that serves as a patio for their Claremont location, a gorgeous renovation of mill buildings for the restaurant and Common Man Inn. What to expect: Dinner only during the week, opens at 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

The city-like patio has been maintained from a previous incarnation at this space. The cloistered space seems private and inviting at the same time with a variety of seating options amidst shrubbery and perennials. What to expect: Pizza is the focus of this local chain restaurant, but salad and house-made pasta are also offered. Open daily for lunch and dinner.
