There are plenty of great things to do during Mother's Day weekend 2018 including special occasion brunches, theater, wine tastings, plant sales, a craft fair, opera, cooking workshops and more.

Annual Amherst Garden Club Plant Sale

Does Mom like to garden? If so, then take her to the largest plant sale in New England that features over 2,000 locally dug and potted perennials as well as special garden vendors. Or, simply pick up something special for a  Mother's Day gift. A fun event for all ages; there's something for everyone! Check out the heirloom tomatoes, hanging baskets, veggies, and flowers on sale, and take advantage of the club members on hand to answer all your gardening questions. You won't want to miss this annual event that runs rain or shine.

9th Annual Mother’s Day Weekend Craft Festival

Meet the makers at the Mother’s Day Weekend Craft Festival.

The scenic Town Common in Hampton Falls, New Hampshire, will come alive with color, flavor and music for the 9th Annual Mother’s Day Weekend Craft Festival.

Over 75 juried craftsmen and craftswomen from all over New England will display and sell their American-made works including stained glass, original watercolors, photography, pottery, carved wildlife, folk art, hand-crafted soaps, country wood, quilts, doll clothes, fine jewelry, floral design and more.

Come and sample the culinary delights of herbal dips, kettle corn, maple, pickles, jams, jellies, lemonade, homemade fudge, oils, sauces and more.

Live musical entertainment on the bandstand each day.

The Fair is held rain or shine, handicap accessible and admission is free.

Hampton Falls Town Common is located directly on Route 1 in the lovely and picturesque village of Hampton Falls, NH.

This event is a fundraiser for the Hampton Falls Recreation Commission with funds raised to maintain and improve the commons.

Treat Mom To Dining on the Rails

Conway Scenic Railroad in North Conway is offering brunch with two seatings on both Saturday and Sunday of Mother’s Day Weekend.  Moms dine for half price when accompanied by a paying adult.

Dunbarton Arts On The Common

Now a Mother’s Day weekend tradition, Dunbarton Arts On The Common is a juried festival of fine art and craft located on the scenic town common in historic Dunbarton. More than 50 juried artists and artisans are featured, including Meshugenah Hats, Michelle Kolb Fine Jewelry, and Hoytie Toytie handwoven baskets. Admission is free.

National Public Gardens Day

As part of the annual National Public Gardens Day, explore the beauty of The Fells and discover the colorful spring blooms in the Rock Garden and the fragrant blossoms of early flowering trees and shrubs. Get a preview of Art in Nature 2017: Outdoor Sculpture. Treat mom on her day (Sunday, May 14) and pack a picnic to enjoy on the Veranda — carry-in/carry-out, please. Treat Mom to Mother's Day on the M/S Mount Washington

Treat mom to brunch on the lake and help kickoff the M/S Mount Washington’s 2017 season during the Mother’s Day Cruise on May 14. During this annual event, enjoy a two-and-a-half-hour scenic cruise around Lake Winnipesaukee complete with a champagne brunch and entertainment for all ages. 27th Annual Kitchen Tour: 2018

Mother's Day Weekend at Omni Mount Washington Resort

In addition to an expansive Mother's Day brunch, other special offers throughout the weekend include a free canopy tour for moms, evening carriage rides, soap making workshop, Karaoke with Mom and more. Sunday's brunch is $70 for adults, $35 for children aged 6 to 12 and complimentary for children 5 and under. (Tax and gratuity included.) The Old Courthouse

Pickity Place

One of the most delightful places to lunch in New Hampshire is Pickity Place in Mason. It’s part history museum (with connections to "Little Red Riding Hood"), garden of wonder and lovely resource for herbs and country-style gift shopping. The daytime offering here is really a five-course luncheon inspired by the herbs grown on the grounds served in the 1786 antique cape. Each month the chef creates a new menu based on the seasons.
