Fresh cut pine and boxwood, brilliant red holly, gilded seed pods, antique vases, silver bows and glittering ornaments – all of these delightful materials will be used to create festive holiday arrangements at the Rye Driftwood Garden Club’s annual Holiday Greens Workshop and Sale.
Garden club members raid their gardens for fresh greens and native dried materials to create a wide range of arrangements for table and floor, wreaths, swags for front doors, boxwood trees, candle rings and outdoor arrangements.
All purchases at the Holiday Greens Sale help to fund the Club’s speakers’ and giving back programs. RDGC awards landscaping grants to help area organizations beautify public spaces, maintains multiple public gardens and flower boxes in Rye, and has provided scholarships to the UNH Plant Camp! and horticulture majors at the UNH Thompson School each year.
