This event occurs weekly, on Sunday and Saturday.
Stroll the winter lanes of Strawbery Banke, lighted along the way with candle lanterns and made joyful by passing carolers, costumed role-players and a horse-drawn carriage. Each historic house interprets the holidays - or simply winter nights - as appropriate to its era, from the simplest shop wares in 1795 to the elaborate Victorian decorations of the Goodwin House.
From Hanukkah in the 1919 Shapiro House to rationing coupons in the 1943 Abbott-Marden home and corner store. All decorations are handmade with natural materials collected from the museum gardens. An anchor of Vintage Christmas in Portsmouth.
Adult $25 / Child $12.50 / Family $60 / Military free
