Professional Face PaintSo you've got the perfect costume, why not make your Halloween outfit complete with amazing face paint? Merrimack artist Karol DiPietro can be found at events all over the state, but she's also available for private events and parties. She specializes in full faces, and everything is done by hand without the aid of stencils. Karol DiPietro 2. Halloween SoundtrackSeacoast artist and musician Dan Blakeslee's "Halloween Special" is the perfect Halloween soundtrack. With 13 (naturally) songs about everything from the Headless Horseman to bobbing for apples, this album is kid-friendly while still able to stand alone as great music adults will love, too. Dan Blakeslee's "Halloween Special" 3. Handmade Candy CornWhy not give those trick-or-treaters (or yourself) some quality, handmade candy corn instead of the usual plastic-tasting stuff? The sweet tooth masters at the Granite State Candy Shoppe offer their own version of this Halloween candy classic as well as a number of other seasonal treats. $2.49 for 8 oz. of regular candy corn or $3.98 for their "giant" variety. 4. "Rocky Horror Picture Show"Dressing as a "Rocky Horror Picture Show" character for Halloween is a campy Halloween tradition - you can find this Columbia outfit and other "Rocky Horror" costumes at Ballard's (now online only, with a seasonal physical Halloween store) - but attending a screening of the movie (in costume) is even better. Concord's Red River Theatres has four shows planned with an after-party to follow each. Get your costume of choice and get ready to time warp again.
