Sweet and Spicy! In a blind taste test, our staff compared four N.H. gourmet pepper jellies from around the state. Here’s what they thought and which one they liked the best.
LollipopTree Sweet vidalia onions and bell peppers, combined with tart cranberries and crushed red pepper, creates a milder mix with a hint of heat. The LollipopTree offers a wide range of jellies from hot pepper to the intriguing Wasabi Lime Pepper Jelly.

And the Winner Is...
Amelia Maes & Co. This jelly — with a good touch of heat — gets its golden color from yellow bell peppers, which also add sweetness. Red flecks of thai peppers and garlic round out the flavors. Also available are the Emerald Hot Pepper Jelly with Jalapenos and the sweeter Raspberry Thai Jam.

Fennelly Farms Roasted garlic, onions and cranberries create a flavor that’s more on the sweet end of pepper jellies. Fennelly Farms also has a hot pepper version if you want things a little spicier. The Cranberry Onion would be excellent over cheeses, as a condiment with meat dishes, in a sandwich and much more.

Molly Lane Kitchen Habanero peppers give this bright orange jelly a big kick. If it’s heat you’re looking for, this is the pepper jelly for you. Red bell peppers add to the flavor with a touch of sweetness, which keeps it from being too hot.
