October 25, Portsmouth

On Sunday, October 25, the Sea Captains will perform at Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse. The outdoor concert will celebrate the release of their first full-length album, "Unfathomable," which will be available starting October 20. You will find the CD at Bull Moose Music stores, on Itunes, CD Baby and at www.theseacaptains.com.

Here's an excerpt of what New Hampshire Magazine Editor Rick Broussard had to say about "Unfathomable" (you can find the full review in the November issue):

"Like a rousing hornpipe, the music entices you to dance on the deck, no matter how dire the straits. Anyone who enjoys the jaunty bro-band sounds of Weezer or Bare Naked Ladies should be onboard when The Sea Captains take the wheel."

4 p.m.--6 p.m.

Tickets for the concert are $8, and a share of the proceeds will go to Friends of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse. The lighthouse will be open for a public open house prior to the concert, from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a suggested donation of $2 for adults and $1 for children 12 and under.
