Sweeten the season with the Cookie and Candy Tour

Those who love their holidays on the sweet side shouldn’t miss the 21st Annual Inn to Inn Holiday Cookie and Candy Tour that provides visitors with some sweet deals to go with a tempting trail of tasty treats.

Visitors can tour beautiful Mount Washington Valley inns decked out in their holiday finery, offering cookies, candies and a collection of recipes. This year’s Inn to Inn Holiday Cookie and Candy Tour will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on December 9 and 10, 2017. The self-guided tour stretches from Hart’s Location, to Eaton, NH, and Fryeburg, Maine, with nearly a dozen inns opening their doors to those in search of fabulous holiday treats, recipes and decorating ideas. No inn is more than 15 minutes from the next, with many much closer.

Participating inns

Inns participating in the tour include: the Darby Field Inn in Albany; Inn at Crystal Lake and Pub in Eaton; Cranmore Inn Bed & Breakfast in North Conway Village; Glen Oaks Inn in Intervale; Inn at Ellis River in Jackson; 1785 Inn, Eastman Inn, and Old Red Inn & Cottages in North Conway, Snowvillage Inn in Snowville, and Admiral Peary Inn Bed & Breakfast in Fryeburg, Maine.

How to participate

Tour tickets are available in advance by reserving a lodging package from participating inns; packages include two nights accommodations, keepsake ornament, admission for the Cookie and Candy Tour and more. Those not wishing to stay overnight may purchase tickets between December 1-7, 2016 for $30 per person by calling the Old Red Inn at 800-338-1356 or 603-356-2642. Tickets reserved by phone will be available for pick up at designated pick up locations. Tickets quantities are limited.

Recipes

Not able to make it to this year's event but want to embrace the tasty holiday cheer? Try baking one of the inn's decadent cookies in your own home. (Oh, and don't forget to invite us -- we have a sweet tooth, too!)
