June 13-28 - Hampton Beach
The fun starts Friday, June 12th when 300 tons of imported sand are dropped on Hampton Beach. Hit the beach and watch as fifteen sand sculpting masters compete for over $15,000 in prizes at the 9th annual event.
Even after sculptures have been created and sealed for protection against the elements, viewers will be able to walk along the beach museum to look at the creativity and craftsmanship of the sandy creations.
Free lessons will be offered June 18-20. Signing up on the day of the lesson is required and can be done in person outside the Chamber Office near the event.
Awards are held on June 20 at 8 p.m. at the Seashell Stage. Fireworks follow at 9:30 p.m. Visit www.hamptonbeach.org for more information.
