Cheap Eats - Wing-itz

It’s getting hot in here. It must be the “wicked hot wings” at Wing-itz, a little walk-up-to-the-counter spot with 12 varieties of wings, sub sandwiches, wraps and even a few interesting salads. It’s the wings that are a must, though. There are four levels of heat in the Buffalo, but also a nicely sweet Thai chili, a tangy sesame Oriental, and a messy and tasty BBQ in regular or hot. Get them by the half or whole dozen or even 50 or more. Wing-itz also has some great fries, all hand-cut and nice and thick, and you can get them Chicago-style with a black pepper brown gravy sauce to pour all over or to dip. Steak sandwiches are good, too, by the half or the whole with a gooey BBQ cheese steak with the sweet dark sauce shot through the slices of sautéed meat. Or try a healthier Asian salad with teriyaki chicken, greens, Mandarin orange and crunchy Asian noodles in a sesame dressing. But really, why do that when you can have honey garlic or sweet Thai peanut sauce wings to smooth out your burning mouth from those wicked hot wings?
