NH's Fall State and Agricultural Fairs

Mark your calendar for the Hopkinton State Fair, Deerfield Fair, Hillsborough County Fair and more!




What's our favorite tradition once the temps drop and the leaves start to fall? It has to be attending one of New Hampshire's great fall fairs. Fried food, carnival-style rides and games, animals, horse pulls, live music and entertainment, and did we mention the delicious food?

Here are the dates for our favorite fall state and agricultural fairs happening in September and October 2017.

Lancaster Fair

Date: Thursday, August 31 – Monday, September 4, 2017
Location: 516 Main Street in Lancaster, NH
Tickets: $15 (including rides) on Thursday, Friday and Monday; $17 on Saturday and Sunday; children under 36" are free with a paying adult.

Hopkinton State Fair

Date: Friday, September 1 – Monday, September 4, 2017
Location: State Fairgrounds in Contoocook, NH
Tickets: $12 for General Admission (ages 13-59), $10 for seniors, $8 for youth ages 3-12; children 35 months and younger are free.

Hillsborough County Agricultural Fair

Date: Friday, September 8 – Sunday, September 10, 2017
Location: 17 Hilldale Lane in New Boston, NH
Tickets: $10 for adults; children 6-12, seniors 65 and older, and active military and veterans are $5; children under 6 are free.

Deerfield Fair

Date: Thursday, September 298 – Sunday, October 1, 2017
Location: Deerfield Fairgrounds, Route 43, Deerfield, NH
Tickets: $10 for ages 13 and older; children age 12 and younger are free.

Sandwich Fair

Date: Saturday, October 7 – Monday, October 9, 2017
Location: Sandwich Fairgrounds, Route 109 North, Center Sandwich, NH
Tickets: $10 for adults, $3 for youth ages 8-12; children age 7 and younger are free

Rochester Fair

There is no Rochester Fair in 2017.
