This Bud's for Two: A Classic Collins Topped With Bud Light Lime



Mixologists using bud light lime instead of club soda.

Budweiser has added a twist of 100 percent natural lime juice to their ever-popular Bud Light. The refreshing drink has found its way into the mixologist's shaker for making a classic Collins.

Ice

1½ ounces gin

½ ounce fresh lemon juice

¾ ounce simple syrup (1:1)

4 ounces Bud Light Lime

Lemon twist

Preserved cherry (preferably bourbon-soaked)

DIRECTIONS

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the gin, lemon juice and simple syrup. Shake well and strain into an ice-filled Collins glass. Top with the Bud Light Lime and stir once to mix. Garnish with the lemon twist and the cherry and serve.
