A look inside ReRuns - The Best of the PastHow can you tell if someone is really your friend? They take you to ReRuns and let you browse for hours. This charming yellow house, set back from Rte. 102 in Londonderry, is a treasure trove of gently used furniture and home décor that doesn't smell like a grandmother's attic. Rooms are arranged thematically with furniture and accessories designed to bring life to a home. Look for the hand-painted horse yoke, the men's pocket watches and gold overstuffed feather silk pillows for $8 a piece. Owner Denise is warm, welcoming and destined to be your new BFF.

Actual address is 3 Crosby Ln., but the house can be seen from Rte. 102.

Other ShopsApple Blossom CollectiblesHere's a store that gives you a warm bear hug the minute you step through the door. Look for a blend of country, shabby, cottage and primitive décor. You'll adore the hand-painted Longaberger pie basket, a steal for $80. Orange cloth stuffed carrots made from chenille spreads are a perfect addition to any Easter basket. Some antiques including Depression glass can be found.

G. R's Trading PostDon't judge a book by its cover. G.R's Trading Post, 108 Chester Rd., Derry, does not disappoint. What looks like a small barn is really rooms chock full of American-European antiques and reproductions. Bring a tape measure and a permission slip to "invest" in a piece from here. The custom-made farmhouse tables made from authentic barn wood (starting at $795) with matching Windsor chairs are a must have for well-appointed historical homes in New England.

Pssst ...Strip malls along Rte. 102 are abundant and full of surprises. Do hunger pains a favor with an eclectic lunch at Janie's Uncommon Café (44 Nashua Rd., Londonderry). The grilled Portabella spinach salad with sun-dried tomatoes will keep you on your diet.

For a sugar splurge head across the parking lot to the Blackberry Bakery where you'll find tiramisu richer than an Italian opera.
