Artists Weekend at The Fells




July 24-26, Newbury Juried New England artists paint en plein air in the beautiful Fells gardens. Stroll the grounds, observe the artists while they paint, ask them about their techniques and inspiration. Concludes on Sunday from 3-4 p.m. with a Wet Paint Sale and reception with the artists. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. About the Fells The Fells is one of the finest examples of an early 20th-century summer estate in New England. You can walk around the 100-foot Perennial Border, stroll through the Old Garden, look at the beautiful views of Lake Sunapee from the Rose Terrace and hillside rock garden, take one of the guided tours or explore the hiking trails.
