The first annual Restaurant Week Farmers Dinner will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2014, in downtown Nashua. This farm-to-table event is a celebration of local food and award-winning chefs from downtown Nashua’s restaurants.
Main Street will be closed to traffic and festively decorated with white lights, hay bales, corn stalks and pumpkins. Long, linen-clad tables will be set up down the middle of the street with seating for 200 guests. A six-course dinner will be served family style together with locally produced wine and beer.
Throughout the evening guests will enjoy musical entertainment and hear speakers address issues such as biodiversity and sustainability. Local farms will set up an impromptu Farmers Market for diners to purchase the seasonal produce used to create their meal.
The dinner kicks off Restaurant Week in Nashua, September 22-28.
$99 per person/$85 for just food (no wine or beer).
