Nashua Community College Hosts Refugee and Immigrant Experience Documentary and Talk

In conjunction with the Nashua Community College (NCC) Lecture Series, Dr. Sara Withers of the UNH Anthropology department will facilitate a screening of “Uprooted: Heartache and Hope in New Hampshire." This 30-minute documentary based on interviews conducted by the UNH Center for the Humanities during New Hampshire Humanities' Fences & Neighbors initiative on immigration focuses on five refugees who escaped from war-torn countries to resettle in New Hampshire.
