A backstage farce by Charles Morey.
For the Players' 80th Birthday, they present a hilarious look into the world of the theatre. When The Playhouse, a rustic New England summer theatre (any resemblance to the Peterborough Players is purely coincidental, of course), schedules a repertory season of "Dracula," "Hamlet" and "Charley’s Aunt," comic mayhem ensues.
Though it seems that anything that can go wrong does, through earnestness, skill and heart the company ultimately succeeds in telling stories on a summer night. Former Players' Artistic Director Chuck Morey (who also helmed last season's "The 39 Steps") returns to direct this big hit from the 2004 season. PG-13
$39 on Saturdays and $37 all other days
