375 local high school students to compete in inaugural rowing regatta.
The public is invited to watch the first annual Water Works Challenge on Saturday morning September 28 at Lake Massabesic in Manchester, NH. Over 375 local high school student athletes from Manchester Central, Amherst, Bedford, Hollis-Brookline, Concord, The Dublin School and Medford will compete against the clock and each other in 15 time trial competition races. The quickest boat in each 3-mile race will win that event.
The first race starts at 8:30 a.m. and the last race will start by 1 p.m. Admission and parking are free. Massabesic Park at 16 Londonderry Turnpike (near the Massabesic Traffic Circle) is an ideal location to watch the regatta.
