Grow More Garlic!

Date/Time

Sep 29, 2013

Description

Presenter: Jim Ramanek, Warner River Organics.

Garlic is an ever-popular crop at farmers markets, farm stands and in CSA boxes. It makes a great display at winter markets, too! At "Grow More Garlic!," Jim Ramanek, of Warner River Organics, will discuss and demonstrate how to streamline your approach to garlic production. From varietal choices and soil/bed prep, to planting, watering and mulching, Jim will walk us through the process. We will also do some planting, as that’s what needs to happen in September!

Join us for this opportunity to learn from and work with an experienced organic grower, and stay for a picnic potluck at 6pm! Bring your own blanket, flatware, silverware and a dish to share. See more here.
