Family Clay Workshops

Sep 29, 2014 to Jun 27, 2015
01:30 PM until 02:30 PM

This event occurs weekly, on Saturday.

Come in Saturday afternoon with your children to share the magic of clay together.

This is not a paint-your-own-pottery shop, we will actually be working with wet clay to create a unique clay piece from scratch. Leave your creations with us to fire and they are ready for pick up in three to four weeks.

  • October: Jack-o-lantern Jars
  • November: Turkey Cups
  • December: Clay Ornaments

For 2015:

  • March: Animal Seed Starter Mini-Pots April: Flower Pots (for the little seedlings you started last month)
  • May: Mugs for Moms! (create mugs out of decorated slabs for Mother's Day!)
  • June: Crazy Creature Boxes (combine your favorite animals into one and turn it into a box!)

Parents of kids under 5 should expect to spend their time assisting their child in making the piece. Parents of older children have the option of making their own piece.

Parents and kids workshops are offered every Saturday from 1:30-2:30. Pre-registration secures your spot and it also ensures the workshop will run. Please call the studio to reserve your spot! You may also pay with cash or check in person (instead of a card online).

The first parent and child pair is $30. For one parent and two children, its $40
