Empty Bowls Fundraiser for New Horizons

Description

The 11th Annual Empty Bowls fundraiser. Sponsored by the NH Potters Guild, the event raises money for New Horizons for New Hampshire. Empty Bowls is an international project to fight hunger. NH Potters Guild members make and donate ceramic soup bowls. For $20 guests choose and keep a handmade bowl and are able to sample soups donated by 16 local restaurants. 

Participating restaurants include: Airport Diner, Angela’s Pasta & Cheese Shop, Bertucci’s, Cactus Jacks Southwest Grill, Cotton, Fratello’s Ristorante, Ignite Bar & Grille, Jerome’s Deli, Manchester School of Technology, Milly’s Tavern, The Ninety-Nine, Outback Steakhouse, Piccola Italia Ristorante, Puritan Back Room, Red Arrow Diner, Southern NH University Culinary Arts, Suddenly Soupy’s and Tinker’s Seafood.

New Horizons for New Hampshire operates a homeless shelter, soup kitchen, food pantry and Angie’s Shelter for Women. 

Cost

$20 including handmade bowl; $5 kids bowl; $10 quart of soup-last 1/2 hour only
