Antique Holiday Lighting Discussion

Date/Time

Dec 3, 2017
03:00 PM until 05:00 PM

Description

A presentation by Paul Kachinsky of The Royalston Attic about Antique Holiday Lighting. Beginning with the use of wax candles prior to electricity, Paul will be touching on all the years of lighting right up through current LED lighting. The majority of the talk will revolve around the differences in lighting offered after WWII, when the United States began to celebrate the holidays in a massive way (the late 40's through late 60's).
Many samples will be on display. Audience is invited to ask questions and even bring along items they may have that they'd like more information on (including if they are say to use).
